Superior and Ray volleyball teams had a great week, winning their matches. Hayden and San Manuel, though, had it rough.

Superior Lady Panthers

  It was a good week for the Lady Panthers volleyball team. They started last week with a home game against Valley Lutheran. The girls claimed the victory, winning all three sets.

  The Lady Panthers closed out their week with another home game, this time against San Manuel. The girls once again were able to claim the win for all three sets that were played during the match, going 3-0 over San Manuel.

  The Lady Panthers will travel to take on Duncan this week, as well as Ray.

Ray Lady ‘Cats

  The Lady Bearcats had a good time on the court last week. Starting off their week, they hosted San Manuel, claiming a 3-0 match victory over the Lady Miners.

  To close out their week, the girls traveled to Hayden. It was a tough match, but the Lady ‘Cats came out on top, with set scores; 25-16, 25-17, and 25-18.

  The Lady ‘Cats will keep it light and host Superior on Thursday, Sept. 25.

Hayden Lady Lobos

  It was a tough time on the court for the Lady Lobos high school volleyball team last week. The girls started their week by hosting Cicero Prep Academy. During the first set, the Lady Lobos were only able to score 7 points, losing 7-25, with the same score during the second set. During the third set, the Lady Lobos were able to score 17 points to Cicero’s 25. It was a tough 0-3 match loss for the girls.

  The Lady Lobos ended their week with a home game against Ray. The girls put up a tough fight, scoring 16 points in the first set, losing 16-25. During the second set the girls scored 17 points, losing 17-25. During the final set the girls scored 18 points, losing 18-25. Hayden lost over Ray 0-3.

  The Lady Lobos will be busy this week, taking on Valley Lutheran, Fort Thomas, and San Manuel.

San Manuel Lady Miners

  It was a tough time on the court for the Lady Miners last week. The girls traveled to Ray to start their week. The Lady Miners were unable to win any of the three sets that were played, suffering a 0-3 loss for the match.

  To close out their week, the girls traveled to Superior. The Lady Miners once again suffered the same fate against the Lady Panthers, unable to win any of the three sets that were played, losing 0-3. The girls will keep it light this week with a home game against Hayden on Thursday, Sept. 25.
