Vada Garcia

  Vada Garcia, 77, passed away in Tucson on Nov. 2, 2020 after a struggle with renal failure.


  She is survived by her sister, Myrna Mercer of Holbrook; brother, Jack Sanders of Los Vegas; five children, Tony (Virginia), David (Lynette), Ed (Anna), Mona (Dennis) and Philip; nine grandchildren, Anthony (Dana), Jacob (Kailah), Danny (Ana), Kaylee (Anthony), Kirstin Richard, Daniel, Brenden and Jason; and eight great-grandchildren, Aria (Jacob) and Alessi (on the way), Isaac and Luciana (Danny), Layla and Anthony (Kaylee), Dannyel (Richard), Dan Jr. and Scarlett (Daniel).

   Vada was an Avon sales representative and the manager at Movies to Go. She enjoyed dancing with her husband and family activities, such as camping and spending time at the Gila River, and visiting the grandkids. She was an avid reader who loved solving crossword puzzles and enjoyed playing Scrabble with her sister Myrna and her mom. Vada loved being a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

   A small family service will be held at Mountain View Cemetery in Hayden on Saturday, Nov. 14, beginning at 10 a.m. This is where she will be laid to rest.
