Mayor Mila Besich and the Superior Town Council recently honored the Hing Family as the Spirit of Optimism Community Champions for 2018.
The Superior Optimist Club selected the Hing Family for their ongoing service to the community and to recognize them as a legacy family in Superior.
The proclamation read by the Mayor, thanked the Hing family for maintaining the grocery store in Superior.
“Without a grocery store our community would struggle to exist,” said the Mayor.
The Hing family has been in Superior for five generations, spanning 100 years. The Hing family will serve as the Grand Marshals for for the 2019 Miracle on Main Street Parade.
