FLORENCE, AZ – Pinal County has reopened the External Agency Fund application process for a third time. Funding for this extended period is provided through the County’s allocation of Community Development Block Grant – Coronavirus funding. Projects should be to prevent, prepare for, and respond to the Coronavirus pandemic. Projects should also provide benefit for low to moderate income persons and special populations. The Board of Supervisors have indicated funding will be provided to nonprofit organizations addressing food insecurity.
The Pinal County Board of Supervisors invites nonprofit service providers to apply for fiscal year 2020/2021 funding for specific projects or programs that provide measurable benefits to Pinal County residents and address the specified criteria above.
The anticipated program year will be October 1, 2020 – September 30, 2021.

The application process will be open Aug. 24, 2020 and close Sept. 18, 2020.
