Dan Munslow joins the Superior Police Department as its new full time officer.

Officer Dan Munslow is the newest member of the Town of Superior Police Department.

Dan was born and raised in Seattle, Washington. Upon graduation from high school, Dan joined the United Stated Navy as a Cryptographic Technician Operator. Dan spent nine years in the Navy where he participated in numerous deployments. Dan was assigned to the staff of the US Commander, Sixth Fleet and was a Communications Watch Officer.

When Dan separated from the Navy, he lived a short time in Mississippi before accepting a contract position with Northrop Grumman and moved to Germany for five years. While in Germany, Dan met his wife Ala. When Dan and Ala decided to move to the US, they chose to live in Chandler where Dan accepted a job with Wells Fargo as a Systems Security Analyst. Dan and Ala moved briefly to Washington, D.C. where Dan worked for the US Department of Justice before returning to Arizona.

Once back home in Arizona, Dan worked in the private sector as a Security Engineer, Security Operations Center Manager and eventually a Director of Operations. After years of working in an office, Dan decided to pursue his dream of becoming a Police Officer.

Dan attended the Phoenix Regional Police Academy and completed a three-month Field Training Program with the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office.  Dan is grateful for the opportunity to start his law enforcement career in Superior and looks forward to many years of faithful service.

  Welcome to Superior, Dan.
