The Superior High School student council has announced the 2024 Homecoming theme “There’s No Place Like Home” which is using the Wizard of Oz as inspiration for the spirit week and annual Homecoming Parade.
Spirit Week themes are: Monday, Sept. 23 – Pajama Day, Tuesday, Sept. 24 – Dress Like a Scarecrow, Wednesday, Sept. 25 – Soccer Mom vs BBQ Dad, Thursday, Sept. 26, will be the traditional Black and Orange Day.
The annual Homecoming parade will be held on Main Street on Friday, Sept. 27, 2024 at 3 p.m. Businesses and community groups are encouraged to participate in the parade, entry forms can be picked up at the Junior-Senior High School office.
Following the homecoming parade FCCLA and FBLA student organizations will host a tailgate party before the football game. Any vendor wishing to sell at the event will need to pay a $15 vendor fee. The homecoming football game will be played on Friday, Sept. 27. The Superior Panthers will play Lincoln Prep. Kick-Off will be at 7 p.m. The Homecoming Dance will be held on Saturday, Sept. 28, from 8 to 11 p.m. at the Manny Ruiz Gym at the school.
