If you have kids (or adults) who don’t understand the need for sunscreen and don’t believe it works, there is a simple, fun and effective method to show its protective power: paint with it!
That’s what Friday, Sept. 13, at the Hayden Public Library was all about. Okay, that’s what it was about for one artistic hour during the STEAM: Solar Experiments event. Children were invited to bring their own sunscreen to experiment by making their own sun print or bracelet out of UV beads.
If you haven’t had the pleasure of enjoying a STEAM event, you can call the Hayden Public Library at 928-200-2997 for more information. Also, you can check the Copper Corridor Community Calendar for up-to-date news on Hayden Library happenings and more.
