This year the Superior Optimist Club decided to host Miracle on Main Street in conjunction with the Second Friday events. The combination proved to be a success for all involved.
DJ Supie Town, Calvary Chapel and Superior Dance Company provided entertainment throughout the event.
This year there were over 20 parade entries; first place went to the City of Globe for their World Peace Train entry. Second place went to APS who made their debut in the Superior parade and third place went to the Calvary Churches of Superior and Kearny, their float featured the Nativity Scene and people dressed in cultural costumes from around the world, celebrating the birth of Jesus.
Santa made his annual stop at Besich Park and visited with the children. Some of the top wishes included puppies and video games, according to Santa.
