The season is starting to wind down for the Copper Corridor volleyball teams, but they will continue going strong to the end.
Hayden and Ray began their week facing off in the Lobo gym.
The Lady Lobos put up a fight, but it was a tough 2-3 loss. The Lady Bearcats were able to claim the win in the back-and-forth game.
The Lady Lobos closed off their week with an away game against ASDB. The girls won 3-0 with set scores of 25-17, 25-23 and 25-15. The girls will face off with San Manuel and Duncan this week.
Ray closed out their week with a home game against Superior. It was another back-and-forth but tough fought game. The Lady ‘Cats fell short with a 2-3 final score, and set scores of 15-25, 23-25, 27-25, 25-23 and 12-15.
The Lady ‘Cats will take on Fort Thomas and Valley Lutheran this week.
It was a busy week for the Superior volleyball team last week. They started last week off with an away game against Cicero Prep. It was a tough 0-3 loss with set scores of 5-25, 7-25 and 10-25.
After defeating Ray, the Lady Panthers ended their week with a Saturday game against Patagonia Union. It was a tough 2-3 loss with set scores of 26-24, 23-25, 16-25, 25-16 and 11-15.
The Lady Panthers will take on San Manuel and Duncan this week.
It was a tough time on the court for the San Manuel volleyball team last week. The girls started their week with an away game against Fort Thomas. It ended with a 0-3 final score and set scores of 17-25, 14-25 and 24-26. The Lady Miners ended their week with a home game against Cicero Prep, which also resulted in a 0-3 final score with set scores of 9-25, 13-25 and 7-25.
The Lady Miners will take on Hayden and Superior this week.
