Lawrence Duke, who is 5, was the first to mail his letter to Santa Clause in one of the special Santa Letter mailboxes.
Lawrence would really love for Santa to bring him a Nintendo Switch for Christmas.
He is the son of Daniella and Lawrence Duke of San Manuel. He has three sisters, Leanna, Adrianna and Aliyanna.
Tri-Community children can mail their wishes to Santa in the special mailboxes placed around the area: La Casita in Mammoth; San Manuel Library in San Manuel; and Oracle Library in Oracle. Letters can also be placed through the slot in the door at the Miner office in San Manuel. Children wishing to send an email may send it to cbnsun@minersunbasin.com. If you’d like to mail letters to Santa, please send them to: Santa Claus, c/o San Manuel Miner, PO Box 60, San Manuel, AZ 85631. Letters must be received by Thursday, Dec. 12, 2024, in order to be published in the Dec. 18, 2024, edition of the San Manuel Miner. San Manuel’s Postmaster James Sweet has assured us that he will personally forward all letters to the North Pole after the San Manuel Miner publishes them.
This year, Mr. Claus has given us permission to accept letters through our Facebook page (www.Facebook.com/CopperArea). Just send us a message (PM) with your child’s letter to Santa.
Hurry and get your letters in quickly so they can be forwarded to the North Pole in plenty of time for the big day. The deadline to mail letters in Santa’s special mailbox is Dec. 12. Santa needs time to get all the requests fulfilled.
