Rose Emily Bradford, born Feb. 25, 1943, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2021, at the age of 77.

  Rose was very active in the community, serving as Mayor of Kearny for many years. She was also an active councilwoman on the Kearny Town Council. She served as the president of the Hand Me Up Shop, chairwoman for Pioneer Days, was a member of the “V.I.P.S.”, Rotary and the local senior citizens group, and ran the Lending Closet. She is a former Copper Basin Citizen of the Year and was the recipient of the Arnold Mariscal Volunteer Award.

  Rose worked a many businesses through the years. She ran the Riverside Inn, managed the General Kearny Inn and co-managed the Club Royal, to name a few.

  She leaves behind her sons, Larry Elliott (Kim), Mark Elliott (Tina) and Jerry Elliott (Patty); daughter, Amber Bradford (companion Ron Buckley); several grandchildren, two great-grandsons, and several nieces and nephews – all who will miss her deeply. She is preceded in death by her late husbands, Duane Elliott and Roy Bradford; and son, Todd Bradford.

  The family will have a private graveside service. A Memorial service for family and friends will be planned in the future when it will be safe to do so.

  She was and is loved by everyone and will be missed by many.
