  The Central Junior High League hosted its 2025 Volleyball Championship tournament at Hayden High School on Saturday. The top six schools for seventh and eighth grade teams were in attendance.

  For the seventh grade there was: #6 Superior, #5 Ray, #4 High Desert Middle School, #3 Cibecue, #2 Mt. Vista, and #1 Eloy. For the eighth grade there was: #6 Superior, #5 Cibecue, #4 Eloy, #3 San Manuel, #2 High Desert Middle School, and #1 Ray.

  On the 7th grade bracket, Superior took on Cibecue first, suffering a 0-2 loss. High Desert took on Ray, claiming the win over the Lady Bearcats.

  In the second round Eloy beat High Desert. Mt. Vista took on Cibecue, and the Lady Cougars suffered a 0-2 loss.

  Meeting up in the finals were Eloy and Cibecue, where Eloy claimed the seventh grade championship title.

  The eighth grade bracket started with San Manuel versus Superior. The Lady Panthers claimed the win over the Lady Miners. Eloy claimed the win over Cibecue in their match.

  Ray played against Eloy to start the second round. The Lady Bearcats won and advanced into the finals. Superior played against High Desert, and were able to battle their way into the championship match.

  The Lady Panthers took on The Lady Bearcats in the final match, where Ray claimed the win.

  The Lady Bearcats are the 2025 CJHL Volleyball Champions, with the Lady Panthers as the Runner-ups.

  Congratulations to all of the teams on a well played tournament, and a good 2025 season!
