The Lady Bearcats made the trek south to face off against San Manuel. The Lady Miners put up a fight coming close in each set, but the Lady ‘Cats claimed all three set wins, 25-19, 25-21 and 25-20.

The Lady Miners were scheduled to play Superior to close out the week, but no official score has been reported. The Lady Miners will meet up with Hayden on Oct. 1 and Valley Lutheran on Oct. 3.

On Sept. 13 and 14, the Lady ‘Cats competed in the Mogollon Invitational. The girls got a lot of time on the court but were unable to claim any of the match wins. The Lady ‘Cats played against Mogollon 0-3, Blue Ridge 0-3, Page 0-3, St. David 0-3 and 0-2, Page 0-2 and Show Low 0-2.

The Lady ‘Cats closed out their week by hosting Hayden. The girls claimed another win with the final score being 3-1. The girls will meet up with San Simon, Desert Heights Prep, and Superior next week.

Lady Lobos

The Lady Lobos had a tough time on the volleyball court last week. Starting off the week, the girls traveled to take on Dishchii’bikoh, suffering a tough 0-3 loss with set scores of 18-25, 14-25 and 16-25.

The girls ended the week with a game against Ray. The girls were unable to claim the win, only 1 set was won by the Lady Lobos. The final score was 1-3.

Hayden is set to meet up with Valley Lutheran and rematch Dishchii’bikoh this week.

Lady Panthers

The Superior volleyball team had a tough matchup against Valley Lutheran last week. The girls were unable to claim any set wins with the set scores being 21-25, 12-25 and 25-27.

The Lady Panthers were scheduled to take on the Lady Miners, but no official score has been reported.

The girls will host Ray next week on Thursday, Sept. 26, with a 5 p.m. start.
