We are always proud of the students who reach toward a goal and achieve it. In this strange time, with the COVID-19 pandemic affecting every aspect of life in the Copper Basin area, the nation and the world, for students to even keep on track, but, especially to excel, is truly inspiring.
The schools were closed. Teachers were not there to give guidance and keep the students on track. It was literally a world of stress and stumbling blocks. Look what they did! They deserve to have their accomplishments celebrated. No celebration will be held in the usual way, though, with gatherings of family, friends and classmates.
In a quieter way, these students will be celebrated in community-wide memory, as fine examples of how to triumph over adversity. Great job, students!
