The Ray boys basketball team drew their season to a close on Friday, Feb. 14. The Bearcats traveled to Cicero Prep for a play-in game for the 1A State Playoffs. The night unfortunately ended with a loss of 40-54.
The ‘Cats ended their season with a record of 15-14, ranked fifth in their region and 18th overall.

The Hayden girls basketball team traveled to Duncan on Thursday, Feb. 13, to compete in a play-In game for the 1A State Playoffs. The Lady Lobos suffered a tough loss of 14-41, bringing their season to a close.
The girls finished their season with a record of 8-12, ranked fifth in their region and 21st for 1A. We’ll see you on the courts next year, ladies!
Hayden hosted Basis Flagstaff on Friday, Feb. 14. At stake was a berth in the 1A playoffs.
The Lobos were able to close the night out with a win over the Yetis, with a final score of 70-54, landing them a spot in the first round of the 1A State Playoffs.
On Tuesday, Feb. 18, the Lobos traveled to compete against Cicero Prep in the first round of the playoffs. The results of the game were not available at press time, but our fingers are crossed for a win and a trip into the quarterfinals.
