Ponciano ‘Bear/Peewee’ Dominguez

  Ponciano Dominguez, also known as Bear or Peewee, passed away Sept. 24, 2018 in Tucson. He was 59.

  Bear was born July 1, 1959 in Safford to Ida and Ponciano Dominguez, both of whom have preceded him in death. He is also preceded in death by his brother, Frankie Dominguez.

  Bear was a cager for Magma/BHP for 22 years and took great pride in what he did. He enjoyed playing softball, golfing, riding motorcycles, camping and spending time with his friends and family. He especially enjoyed taking a ride in his RZR up to the Quemado.

  Bear leaves behind his wife of 20 years, Antoinette M. Dominguez; daughers, Shannon M. Norton and Cassara M. Dominguez; granddaughters, Jasmine L. Davila and Kayla J. Baldwin; sisters, Joann P. Dominguez and Lupe (Jaime) Dominguez; and brother, Ruben (Robyn) Dominguez.

  A celebration of his life will be held on Oct. 5, 2018 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Mammoth. The Rosary will be at 10 a.m. followed by Mass at 11 a.m. A luncheon will follow in the church hall.
