The Superior high school football team competed in the first round of the 1A State Football Playoffs. The Panthers traveled to El Capitan on Saturday, Oct. 26, for an 11 a.m. game.

The Panthers put up a fight, breaking past El Capitan’s defense. Superior’s defense had a hard time keeping back the Eagles. The game ended with an unfortunate loss, and a final score of 28-48.

This closed out the 2024 football season for the Superior Panthers, who ended with a record of 5 wins and 4 losses.

Congratulations on a season well played. We’ll see you Panthers under the Friday Night Lights next year!
