Testing at SFD
The Superior Fire Department responds to a high amount of medical, motor vehicle accident, and fire calls throughout the year. In comparison to other communities of similar size, Superior has a higher than normal call average.
The department is dependent on trained volunteers to work with the full time on duty crews.
The Superior Fire Department would like to invite anyone interested in serving as a reserve/part-time paid firefighter to submit an application to the Superior Town Hall, located at 199 Lobb Avenue.
There is reserve testing on Jan. 6, 2018.
Mila Besich is a resident of Superior with two children. She volunteers for many local organizations. She is an experienced fundraiser and event planner for Copper Corridor Economic Development Coalition. She covers some of the area town councils and schools.
