Parade of Champions! Victory celebration for state champs set for Saturday

Put your best black and orange outfits on and bring your school spirit to the parade of champions on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 10 a.m.

Following a very successful spring sports season of tennis, baseball and softball the Superior Unified School District will be hosting a parade to celebrate the 2015 State Championship Softball team that beat San Manuel 3-0 on Monday as well as the baseball and tennis teams who also made it into the state tournaments this year.

The parade will begin at 10 a.m. on Main St. and will end at Besich Park where the players and coaches will be there to meet the crowd and give speeches.

Following the parade there will be a celebration barbecue on the patio at the Superior Junior/Senior High School. The BBQ is open to the public. The school is accepting donations to cover food costs. To make a donation please contact the Jr./Sr. High school at 520-689-3100.
