Monday, Aug. 3, was Meet the Teachers evening at Mt. Vista School. Parents, grandparents and the kids met up with friends as well as their teachers. A large crowd showed up and got to meet the Mt. Vista administrators, teachers, staff and school board members. Everyone enjoyed Eegees subs, drinks and chips. The younger kids had fun on the playground which they will be using regularly when school starts on Wednesday, Aug. 5.
John Hernandez lives in Oracle. He is retired and enjoys writing and traveling. He is active in the Oracle Historical Society. He covers numerous public events, researches historical features and writes business/artist profiles.
