Miners’ offense MIA as winless streak continues

San Manuel Miners

The San Manuel football team lost its fifth-straight game last Friday night, falling at Globe, 30 – 6.

The game was the third-straight, and fourth in five games so far, in which the Miners have scored only one touchdown. Furthermore, in one of those games the lone touchdown was a defensive score.

The Miners’ lack of offense has affected the defense, which is spending too much time on the field, resulting in tiredness and lopsided final scores.

The Miners will try to get their elusive first victory of the year this Friday at Tombstone.

Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
