The San Manuel baseball team, which started the season with only one win in its first 10 games, extended its winning streak to four games following an 8 – 5 win at Miami last Saturday.
Alejando Camacho had three hits, including two doubles, and an RBI while freshman Javy Tamayo had two hits and drove in three runs to lead the Miners’ offense.
Josh Sharp doubled for one of his two hits and drove in a run as well. Antonio Gallego, a senior, had a hit and two RBI in the win.
Sharp and Angel Barriga combined to pitch seven innings, allowing one earned run on seven hits with six strikeouts and two walks.
