Meetings planned for Winkelman Natural Resources Conservation District

The Gila River runs through the Winkelman Natural Resources Conservation District.

  The Winkelman Natural Resources Conservation District, which includes parts of Pinal, Southern Gila, Northern Pima and Western Graham counties, will be hosting two meetings, both of which are open to the public.

  On Wednesday, March 23, the Winkelman NRCD and Arizona Farm Bureau in partnership with Arizona Land and Water Trust, will present a workshop on Transitioning Ranching/Farming to the Next Generation. The meeting will be held at Central Arizona College-Aravaipa Campus Room E-102, 80440 E. Aravaipa Rd., Winkelman, AZ  85192. Lunch will be provided.   On Monday, April 11, the Winkelman NRCD will be conducting a local work group meeting from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to identify and prioritize the district’s, cooperators’ and agencies’ resource concerns. The meeting will be held at Central Arizona College-Aravaipa Campus Room E-102, 80440 E. Aravaipa Rd., Winkelman, AZ  85192. Lunch will be provided.
