It was a busy schedule for the Lady Lobo softball team last week. They began their week with an away game against Fort Thomas. The girls were in control during the entire game, with a 2-run first inning, a 6-run second inning, to the 9-run third inning, and the 4-run fourth inning. The Lady Lobos were able to best the Apaches by 10 runs, with a final score of 21-11.

The girls were scheduled to play against Superior but won by forfeit.

The Lady Lobos traveled to Mogollon but suffered a tough loss of 10-20.

Closing their week out, the girls traveled to take on Duncan. The Lady Lobos were able to end their week on a positive, defeating the Wildkats with a final score of 20-12. As of April 19, the Lady Lobos are ranked third in their region, and 18th in the 1A division.

The Lobo baseball team was also busy collecting more wins on the diamond this week. The boys started their week off with an away game at Fort Thomas. The boys showed their skill and determination as they dominated the Apaches with a 17-0 final score.

The next day, the Lobos hosted Miami. During this game, the boys only gave up 1 run, and came out on top with a final score of 12-1.

The following day, the boys traveled to take on Mogollon. The boys played it smart during this game, and kept the lead the entire game, and were able to shut Mogollon down before they caught up. The final score of the game was a close 8-7, giving the Lobos the win.

They closed out their week hosting Joseph City. Coming out strong, the Lobos posted 10 runs in the first inning, forcing Joseph City to play catch up the whole game. In the end, the Lobos came out on top, with a final score of 15-5.

As of April 19, the Lobos are ranked first in their region, with the number four rank in the 1A division.
