Are you grieving? Do you know someone who is? Are you seeking a way to move past it or to help someone else, but, unsure of what to do? Accepting grief as a normal response to loss, any sort of loss, is a good first step. Seeking help, when you feel unsure of how to proceed, or, simply feel unable to cope, is the next best step.

The Good Grief Workshop and Balloon Release Ceremony offers you the chance to learn specific tools that will allow you to begin the steps to recover. This free event will be held on Saturday, Oct. 3, from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m at Gemini Hospice, 14 N. Magma Ave. in Superior. Lunch will be provided.

Use this opportunity to look at the losses you have experienced in your life, whether the death of a loved one, divorce, another type of relationship loss, life changing health issues, or grieving from a faith community that has caused pain.

According to the Gemini Hospice website, “Participants who attend our workshops tell us that they feel that their personal lives are improved because they have enhanced their communication and listening skills and have developed the ability to support someone experiencing physical or emotional pain.”
