Kearny – On Aug. 10, both the Ray and Hayden school districts will be starting the 2015-2016 school year. The Copper Basin Chamber of Commerce’s Back to School Drive is in full swing, hoping to meet the needs of returning and new students, making sure they are provided the supplies necessary for a successful school year.

Support and donations for the drive are sought by the Chamber. If you would like to help by purchasing supplies, please drop them off at She’s Country Boutique, Norm’s IGA, and Ray Federal Credit Union. For monetary donations, please contact the Chamber by calling 520-363-7607 or emailing angela@copperbasinaz.com, or, mail a check to: Copper Basin Chamber of Commerce P.O. Box 206, 355 Alden Rd. Kearny, AZ 85137.

Last year, the CBCCs Back to School Drive successfully provided local children with what they needed to start their school year off right, with the help of the community.

“Please join us in our goal to help provide our children, our futures, with the supplies needed for their education,” said Angela Hillan-Ramirez, Chamber director.
