The Superior Copper Alliance is hosting a pie social this Friday, July 31, 2015 at 6:30 p.m. at the home of Bill and Nancy Vogler, located at 502 Church St. in Superior. Anyone interested in learning more about the project or how to provide support to the Resolution Copper project are encouraged to attend.

The group is hoping to raise money to fund their advocacy efforts and are suggesting a $5 per slice donation or $25 for a full pie. The group is re-organizing in efforts to support the mining industry and the Resolution Copper project on a regional level.

Leaders in the alliance are concerned that recent actions taken by Rep. Raul Grijalva to repeal the Land Exchange could affect the project. For more information on the Superior Copper Alliance please contact Bill Vogler at 520-827-1835 or superiorcopperalliance@gmail.com.
