  Carlos Salazar, 86, passed from natural causes in Oro Valley on Sept. 4, 2020.
  He is survived by his wife, Alma Marian; sister, Lucy Lane; children, Robert Metz and Theresa Metz; grandchildren, Devianne Douglas Devin Reed, Robert Metz and Jonathan Metz; and many nieces and nephews.
  Carlos is a veteran of the Korean War, having served in the United States Air Force from 1952 – 1955. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Regis University, Denver, Colorado. Carlos worked for 26 years with the Colorado Department of Corrections. He loved to fish and was very active with the Tri-Community Food Bank, Lions Club, American Legion and Elks Lodge.    Times and dates for services and interment for Carlos Salazar are to be announced.
