When the San Manuel boy’ basketball team defeated San Carlos on Dec. 11 it was the Miners’ first win against the Braves since the 2005-06 season. The Miners proved that win was not a fluke with their second-straight win over San Carlos last Thursday, 64 – 57.
Senior Louis Chavez scored a team-high 17 points and Caleb Quintero added 14 points to lead the Miners.
Up next: Jan. 24 vs. Ray, Jan. 25 at Santa Rita. Both games are scheduled for 7 p.m.
