Sabrina Ann Garcia, 34, died tragically on Oct. 7, 2017.
Sabrina was born Dec. 9, 1982 in Tucson and was raised in Oracle. She moved to the Phoenix area five years ago and was living in Mesa at the time of her death.
She attended Mountain Vista School in Oracle, San Manuel High School and Canyon del Oro High School. She graduated from ATT in Phoenix and earned a welding certificate.
She enjoyed dancing, fishing, cave exploration, dirt bike riding, hiking and sky diving.
Sabrina leaves behind her parents, David and Anita Garcia; sister and brother-in-law, Tobi and Daniel Perham of Tucson; grandmother, Vera Iverson of Questa, NM; niece, Hannah Perham of Tucson; aunts, Lydia Corley of California and Mary Ann Sledge of San Manuel; uncles, Johnny (Dorothy) Garcia of Oracle and Michael Iverson of Questa, NM; cousins, Julie (Audrey) Corley, Jeff (Dee Dee) Corley and Wade Corley, all of California, Pat (Sue) Sledge of Tucson, Phil (Deanna) Sledge of Tucson, Leonard Garcia of Oracle, Nikki Morales of Oregon and Josh Cruz of New Mexico; and Godparents, Duane and Lisa Sledge of Texas.
She is preceded in death by her cousin, Danny Garcia.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Helen’s Catholic Church in Oracle on Saturday, Oct. 21. Rosary will be at 10:30 a.m. and the Mass is at 11 a.m. A Mexican potluck will follow.
Sabrina will be interred at the Oracle Cemetery on her grandparents’ plot at a later date.
