In Your Biz: Untangled Hair by Pamela Peck

Pam Peck at Untangled Hair in Superior.

Since she was nine years old, Pamela Peck knew she would become a cosmetologist.  Each weekend her grandmother would come over to spend time with their family when they lived in the Bay Area of California. Before she would leave Pam would help her mother set her grandmother’s hair for the week.

“I got very comfortable being behind someone fixing their hair,” said Pamela.

In 1982, Pamela received her cosmetology license and she has been doing hair consistently since then.  In her career she has opened three salons, and when she opened Untangled Hair by Pamela, she opened it  so she could give back to the community and have a place to do hair and make up for the movie productions that have been filming in Superior recently.  During most of the the Downtown Superior Second Friday events she offers $10 haircuts.

The Untangled Hair Salon is located at 18 N. Magma Ave inside of the My Home Group office suites.  Pamela operates her real estate brokerage inside the office suites as well.  Her hours are roughly 8-ish in the morning to 6-ish in the evening, she explained.

Pamela can provide basic haircuts, blow outs, permanent color and highlights.  To set up an appointment or consultation with Pamela for hair or make up services, you can call her directly at 602-908-4377.

Her advice to her fellow entrepreneurs and future business owners: “Use social media to promote your business and services.  If you are doing business in Superior, make sure you join the Chamber and participate in Second Friday events.  Networking is very important,” she explained.
