Trailing 20 – 14 at halftime, the Bearcats outscored the Eagles 20 – 8 in the second half, including 12 unanswered points in the decisive fourth quarter.
The loss was a blow to the playoff hopes of the Eagles, who entered the game ranked No. 16. They figure to drop a few spots when the new rankings are released. The top 12 teams qualify for the playoffs, with the top four earning first-round byes.
