New picnic tables in the food court.
When Bill and Jenny Holmquist bought Porter’s Cafe last year, one of the things that happened during redecorating was the removal of the many dollar bills on the walls. They gave the money to 4 local non-profits and one of them was the Superior Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber decided to give the money back to the community and commissioned Veto Cervantes to build 3 picnic tables, which are now at the Food Court. They’re partially made from recycled bleachers donated by the school. No more hauling tables and chairs back and forth when there’s an event!
