The San Manuel High School Volleyball team hosted a Volleyball Clinic last Saturday. The team taught kids how to do the basics: bumping, setting, spiking, and serving.
About 20 kids attended and enjoyed the lessons, hot dogs, and the scrimmage between JV and Varsity. The team hopes to see that the kids retained what they’ve been taught and will consider playing when they reach the Junior High or High School level.
A special thanks to Coach Patty St. Geor for setting up the clinic, the kids who came excited to learn, and to Mona and Francisco Curry for donating and helping at the event.
