Each month the Superior Rotary Club recognizes students of the month from the Superior Junior/Senior High School. Each of the students who are recognized are entered into a raffle to win a a tablet computer device.
The winner of the tablet this year was Gabby Hernandez who is a Junior; her mother is Valerie Macias. She is a member of DECA and FCCLA. She would like to become a teacher or a cosmologist but most importantly she wants to find a career that makes her happy.
Gabby was presented her tablet at the April Superior Governing Board meeting by JFK Principal Manuel Ramirez who is the new President for the Superior Rotary. He was accompanied by Steve Estatico, school superintendent and treasurer for the Superior Rotary.
The Superior Rotary Club is Superior’s longest operating service club. The club meets every Tuesday at the Superior Junior/Senior High School at noon.
