The Kearny Library has been celebrating all week long with a poster contest, special story hour, refreshments and even a birthday!
The celebration for National Library Week began Monday with Story Hour and the Friends of the Library Annual Poster Contest. Refreshments were served Tuesday in honor of National Library Workers Day. Tuesday also saw the celebration of Beverly Cleary’s 100th birthday and a special crochet class.
Today (Wednesday) older kids and ladies can enjoy craft time at the library from 1-3 p.m. (parents must participate with children).
Thursday will be “Popcorn and Triple Movie Day”. Get ready for the great triple feature!
The library will also host an Open House Thursday at 6 p.m. for poster winners and their families.
Why not stop by the library today and tell the librarians just how much you appreciate their service?
The Kearny Library is located at 912-A Tilbury Dr.
