Matthew 4:4 tells us, “Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.”
Regardless of what we may have heard, the Bible does tell us that God talks to us. We were made to hear His voice. We, need to practice listening for and to His voice.
When He speaks, He does not yell or shout. His normal tone of voice is what we would call a whisper. As such, it is easy for life to be much louder and keeping us from hearing Him. It becomes very easy to miss what He is saying to us.
To live a life as God wants us to live it; we must get His guidance and direction. We must be able to not only hear, but listen, understand and obey His voice. The best lifestyle is lived by and according to the leading of God’s Word.
