Spring is here and it is time to celebrate the increasing sun, burgeoning plant life and impending fun of summer. To that end, the Mammoth Library is holding a Spring Festival on Saturday, April 9, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

For the delight of the younger generation, there will be a jumping castle. Popcorn, drinks and movies will add to the merriment. Want a sweet treat? Try your hand, or, more to the point, your feet, at a cakewalk. It’s 25¢ per try.  If you get overheated the fire department will be joining in the fun, providing a noontime spraying with the firehose to cool the kiddies. Bring your towel and don’t be a drip!

In addition, the police will be on hand, providing Child Find fingerprinting to help ensure that the children stay safe while having fun in the warm Arizona sun. The library will be providing the child’s photo with the Child Find kits.
So, whether it’s just to enjoy the weather, find some extra piece of mind, or you are hoping for a piece of cake, don’t forget the date of Saturday, April 9, for free local fun.
