San Manuel’s National Honor Society chapter inducts new members

On Monday, March 21, 2016, San Manuel High School’s chapter of the National Honor Society (NHS) inducted its new members from the 2015-2016 school year.

  Chapter President Morgan Fisher ran the ceremony starting by introducing Bethany Smith, the honor speaker for the evening. Then the ceremony continued, leading to current members speaking about the four tenants of National Honor Society: Character, Leadership, Scholarship and Service. 

  Overall, 11 new members were inducted. Selected for Fall 2015 were Michaela Esquivel, Annette Estrada and Franky Renteria. Eight were selected for Spring 2016: Julia Cardenas-Tellez, Demetria Carter, Nicole Encinas, Maxwell Fisher, Angeleaha Jennings, Emily Large, William Newman and Hannah Reidhead.

  NHS members Angela Navarro, Isiaish Velasquez, Broc Traweek, Morgan Fisher, Jacob Reidhead,  Mariah McBride, Sabrina Robles, Stephanie Morris, Cita Sweeney and Ashley Vargas were all in attendance.
