The San Pedro River and the Copper Corridor is home to many unique and rare species of birds. Some of those birds are only found in this area during certain parts of the year, on Thursday, April 21, at 7 a.m. Take a morning walk at the 7B Interpretive Nature Trail and learn more about the birds of the Copper Corridor near Mammoth, Arizona.
The 7B Interpretive Nature Trail is located off of Highway 77 on River Road near Mammoth Arizona. The trail is also open year around to those wishing to visit and enjoy the nature trail a guide is not needed to visit thought the year.
This special 90-minute walk will be moderate and led by a local expert on the birds of the San Pedro River. Participants are encouraged to register soon as space is limited. Those participating should wear appropriate hiking attire, sturdy shoes, a hat, long sleeves and pants. Facilities are limited in the area, please bring ample water and sunscreen.
