Local Rally Saves Lives

On March 15, for the fifth year the San Tan Valley Rally will once again be held at The Golf
Course at Johnson Ranch. Over 75% of the proceeds from the Rally stay in the Southeast Valley.
The funds raised in 2014 were used to pay for mammograms in 2015 for local women who were
uninsured.

A number of women required additional evaluation as a result of their mammogram.
Without the Rally funding, their concerns would have gone unidentified with potentially dire
consequences.

Due to the success of the 2015 Rally, this year as many as 44 free mammograms
can be provided to local, uninsured women. Women from the Southeast Valley wanting to take
advantage of the free mammograms should contact Elizabeth Schon at eschon@highspeedcrow.ca

This year’s goal is to raise even more money for free mammograms in 2017. Sue Wieger, 2015
number one golf instructor of the year, will be signing her International Bestseller, “Golf – The
Last Six Inches” from 10:00 until 11:30. All proceeds go to the Rally. The cost of the Rally is $83,
which includes golf (18 hole scramble format), cart, dinner, a goodie bag, lots of prizes, donation,
and live music and dancing.

The fun begins at 10:00 with a shot-gun start at 12:30. To register, contact Marilyn Kellough:
mgkello@gmail.com 817-676-5459. Hole sponsors (recognized that day) and prize and cash
donations are welcome (contact Shairry Tanquary: shairryt@gmail.com 480-859-5162).
