The Superior Unified School Governing Board recognized two employees of the month. Terry Villaverde and Liz Sinteral were nominated by their peers and each received a certificate from the district along with gift cards donated by Porter’s Cafe, Random Boutique and passes to the Boyce Thompson Arboretum.
Terry Villaverde aka Mrs. V was nominated for her willingness to mentor other teachers, her helping hand and her listening ear. “She is here 100% for the students and is a role model not only for the students but teachers as well,” as written in the nomination.
Liz Sinteral is an aide for the fourth grade at JFK. She is responsible for helping students with their math and reading. “The students love the patience and kindness that she demonstrates when working with them either one on one or in a small group,” she said.
Superintendent Estatico and members of the board congratulated both on their accomplishments and thanked them for their ongoing service to the district.
