The 2015 Oracle Run was held on Oct. 31. Eighty-two runners participated in this year’s event. The Men’s Overall Winner was Brian Hall of Tucson. Emily McGlamery of Tucson was the Women’s Overall Champion.
Local runners did well this year. Elizabeth Tilley of Oracle finished first in her age division. Kenny Huff, “the man who runs in Levis,” was first in the Men’s 60-64 age division.
Identical twins Andreas and Kyis Barrenche from Oracle tied for first in the Men’s 1-19 age division. Other Oracle runners who placed in either second or third their age divisions included Debra Breen, Jane Redman, and John Wasley. Two Copper Corridor runners competing in the Oracle Run for the first time were Yvannah Gonzales and Edward Aguirre from Dudleyville. They are both Central Arizona College students. Edward finished second and Yvannah placed third in their age divisions.
The Fun Run winners were Camryn Doran and Kaylyn Krolicki. Brando their dog finished third.
