San Manuel Miner
The San Manuel cross-country team hosted a four-team multi-meet on Wednesday, Oct. 14, where the Miners boys’ team finished second and the Miners girls’ team took third.
Florence finished first on both sides.
Every member of the Miners girls’ team finished in the top-20 including Mariah Dockum (20), Rebekah Messing (18), Esmerelda Zuniga (17), Yasmin Salas (14), Yesenia Arcienega (8), and Andrea Castaneda (2).
The Miners boys’ results were: Omar Gallego (21), Levi Schifferns (20), Tylo Montes (11), Carlos Salas (9), Juan Ortega (5), and Patrick Lopez (2).
The Miners’ cross-country team competes at Tombstone and at Benson this week.
