San Manuel Miner
The San Manuel football team suffered its second home loss of the season last Friday night, falling to visiting Odyssey Institute, 27 – 8.
The Miners are now 1 – 2 on the season with their lone victory coming on the road.
In last week’s game, the Miners trailed 13 – 0 at halftime and were outscored 14 – 8 in the third quarter before each team held the other scoreless in the fourth.
San Manuel travels to Globe this Friday to take on the Tigers, who are now 3 – 1 on the season after defeating Alchesay last week, 28 – 22.
Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
