The Magma Club came alive Saturday night, almost reminiscent of its early days as a miner’s recreation hall as the Superior Optimist Club held a casino night complete with Vegas style gaming tables.

The event was well attended by residents from Superior and the surrounding areas. The club is said to have cleared over $5,000 following the successful fundraiser. Prizes were donated by most of the local merchants and several local corporations provided sponsorships to host the event.

The club will use the money to host its annual Miracle on Main St. and Honor Roll Banquet events.
