In Isaiah 5:12 we read, “they have no regard for the deeds of the Lord, no respect for the work of His hands . . . they will be humbled.”
God cares very much for His people, but He will not be toyed with by them. He gives His grace, mercy and love to each and every one, providing opportunities to do great and mighty things in His name.
Although we are surrounded by God’s creation and His goodness, it is possible to ignore Him and just do our own thing – what we want and not His will or desire for us. When we fail to respect His blessings and love, we will suffer the consequences of our actions and attitudes.
From Isaiah 12:1 & 2, “Lord, You have comforted me, I will trust and not be afraid. You are my strength, my song and my salvation.” Give thanks to the Lord!
