A little known folk singer named Christine Lavin once wrote a great variation to the traditional baseball song, “Take Me Out to the Ballgame.” In her version, she urged everyone to “root, root, root for both teams; win or lose, lose or win we’re all the same.”
That version best suits the game played Friday night in Kearny.
It was the Kids vs the Parents in this end of season tradition for the Kearny Little League.
Who won the game?
Who cares!
Everyone had a blast.
