The Legends of Superior Trail Committee along with their partners Resolution Copper, Arizona Trail Association and the Superior Optimist Club hosted the fourth annual Legends of Superior Trail Fest on Saturday. Outdoor enthusiasts visited the event and took several hikes and heard lectures about the area and had the opportunity to visit many recreation booths. New to the tour this year was a guided tour of the Resolution Copper mine.
A fan favorite of the event was the geology walk and talk with ASU professor Steve Semkin. The Crossing Over Paranormal Society hosted a ghost walk and presented some of the paranormal data that they have collected on their research from their visits to haunted places in Superior.
The LOST Committee is excited about upcoming planning with the International Mountain Biking Association to help plan and develop new trails in an around the Superior area.
