Tino won his first two matches and fought real hard in the championship where he lost by points and placed second. Omar Lopez had a tough fight in the championship he had lost to his opponent in the third round, but Omar overcame obstacles and ended up placing second. Joal and Noah had wrestled for the top spot in the championship round and came out victorious.
“Coach Pert and I have the utmost respect for these young men because wrestling is tough and the conditioning we put these young men through. Here at school, they have players of the week. Well, it was hard to choose. Our hardcore wrestlers are players of the month of December and January. In our book, good job guys.” said a team representative.
